Aven Colony community · Created a new topic The UE4- Aven Colony game has creashed and will close

Game keeps crashing durning Installrunning through app it just stops and trying to run it through where the files download togives me a crash error window that says the following.

"Assertion failed:HasFoundDataDirectory

[Files:S:\TeamCity\buildAgent\Work\UE4\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\private\Internation\

ICUInternalization.cpp] [Line:128]

ICU data directory was not discovered:

.../.../.../AvenColony/Content/Internalization

.../.../.../Engine/Content/Internalization

i'm having the same problem and all my drivers are up to date and i only just bought and downloaded it today.
I'm currently trying as Administrator, but seeing as I am the admin of my PC and I'm the only one who uses it so i don't have to login accounts, i can't see it making any difference.

Edit Install as Admin didn't work.

I'd like to know where the Itch app is downloading the game files to but don't see any hint in the preferences tab in the app.
anyone know where they download to and also can i choose where it installs.
